Paint balls were invented in the 1950s to help the forestry service mark trees from a distance. They were first used in a survival game in 1976 by 2 friends looking for an adrenaline rush. Paintball games consist of 2 teams battling it out until 1 player is left standing or not shot. Understand how to utilize bunkers for protection to help your paintball survival tactics.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Develop code words to inform your teammates you plan to crawl. Communication is important so you know where your teammates are. This also gives them a chance to cover you if needed.

  2. Step 2

Utilize the different types of bunkers. A bunker is any object you get behind, crouch beside, lay next to, sneak behind or crawl inside. Large tubes, small cliffs, rocks and large poles laid on their side make good bunkers.

  3. Step 3

Practice the snake crawl for very low bunkers. Lay flat on your stomach with your hands in front of you holding the gun. Press forward with your toes, knees and forearms to more across the ground.

  4. Step 4

Learn to crawl with 1 arm holding the gun. Use this tactic when in tubes or behind large objects. Get on your hands and knees. Crawl forward with your knees and free hand while holding your paint gun in the other hand.

  5. Step 5

Look around for enemies before moving from bunker to bunker. Be careful not to reveal your whole body or you might get shot. Only reveal your head when checking to see if the coast is clear.

  6. Step 6

Move quickly between bunkers or obstacles such as trees. The faster you move, the more difficult it is for an opponent to shoot you.
