The wrap technique in paintball is a way to maximize your shooting lanes. The wrap also opens your game up to different bunker styles, so that you can work some variety into your strategy. It is most commonly used with the cone bunker.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Take a defensive position as you normally would. Make sure you follow all the normal defensive procedures, such as staying tight and keeping your elbows tucked in so they don't get hit.

  2. Step 2

Use your shots to pin down more than 1 player, typically 1 in the center and 1 to the side of the playing field. You don't have to eliminate them at this point, pinning them down is sufficient.

  3. Step 3

Shoot at the player on the side to force him down. Then, step to the side of the bunker and shoot the central player, either eliminating her or driving her down.

  4. Step 4

Return to the back of the bunker and shoot at the side player again. You can do as long as you need to, until you eliminate the opposing players or until your teammates advance.

  5. Step 5

Practice the wrap with the rest of your paintball team. Try to move quickly and smoothly while staying as close to the bunker as possible.
