1. Ask for your hairstylist's guidance in purchasing a ceramic flat iron. Get a recommendation for the size flat iron you're going to use on your hair. Sizes range from small, medium and large--the thickness of the straightener. Also check into price ranges for a ceramic flat iron. Costs can vary and a cheaper flat iron may do the same or more than the more expensive flat iron.
