Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Eyebrow brush
  • Eyeliner pencil
  • Mirror
  1. Step 1

Use an eyeliner pencil to find out where your eyebrows should begin. The beginning ends of your eyebrows are close to the center of your face. Start with the right side of your face. Place the pencil along side the right side of your nose. The pencil should also run over the inner corner of your right eye. Look up the pencil and take a note of where it hits your eyebrow by making a small mark with the eyebrow pencil. Do the same thing for your left eyebrow. You will need to wax the area between the two marks that you made.

  2. Step 2

Look for your natural arch. Again, place the pencil next to the right side of your nose. This time, move the pencil so that it also covers the outer edge of your iris. When doing this, you should be standing straight and looking straight into the mirror. Your eyebrows should arch where the pencil touches your eyebrow. Again, mark these places on both eyebrows on the top and bottom edges with your eyeliner pencil.

  3. Step 3

Find where your eyebrows should end. Place the eyeliner pencil along side your nose and the outside corner of your eye. Mark the spot where the pencil touches your eyebrow and then repeat for the other eye. Draw a smooth line between all the marks that you made for each eye. Now you have an outline of your eyebrows and an idea of which hairs you need to wax away.

  4. Step 4

Brush your eyebrows upward with your eyebrow brush before you begin waxing. If you don't do this, when you wax underneath your eyebrow the wax will catch some of the hairs that are actually growing from the center of your brow but hang down. The wax will remove these hairs, which can leave you with bare patches in your eyebrows. Also, brush the hairs down when you are ready to wax above the eyebrows.
