Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Decide the size of the wrap that you will need. Cut a piece of plastic wrap the right length and then cut additional pieces to increase the width of the wrapping paper.

  2. Step 2

Lay your pieces out next to each other on a flat surface and overlap the edges. Run your finger along the overlapped edge to make the sheets stick to each other.

  3. Step 3

Pull the plastic wrap up and over the gift. Gather all of the edges at the top of the present and tie them together with a ribbon. Using the blade of your scissors, run it along the length of the ribbon to create a curl.

  4. Step 4

Use a blow dryer to heat up the plastic wrap and seal the edges if you don't want to use a bow. You can also tape the plastic wrap closed.

  5. Step 5

Wrap the gift in tissue paper or pretty paper towels before wrapping it in plastic wrap if you do not want the gift to be visible through the wrap. The plastic wrap will protect the tissue paper or paper towels from tearing.
