Body wrapping is a quick and natural way to melt off a few inches, tone a specific area or detoxify your entire body. You can learn the professional way to apply body wraps to your legs regularly and start reaping the same benefits that the rich and famous enjoy.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Medium-sized slow cooker
  • Insulated gloves
  • Body wrap application gloves
  • Linen wraps
  • Thermal leg wraps or pants
  • Moisturizing body lotion
  1. Step 1

Soak linen wraps in a toxin-cleansing solution (see Resources below) that you've made very warm in the slow cooker. Use insulated gloves to remove the wraps from the solution and application gloves to apply the wraps to your legs.

  2. Step 2

Decide if you want to apply a body wrap solution to your skin before applying the wrap. What type you use will depend on the reason you're applying a body wrap; seaweed helps with cellulite, clay cleanses pores and aloe provides deep moisturizing.

  3. Step 3

Wrap one leg at a time, starting at mid-thigh and working down to above the knee. Use the cocoon method of wrapping, much like that you'd use for a sprained ankle.

  4. Step 4

Slip on thermal pants or special leg wraps once you've wrapped both legs. Cover your legs with warm towels or a plastic sheet to hold in the warmth, then relax for about 20 to 25 minutes.

  5. Step 5

Remove the wraps. Apply body lotion liberally to both legs to nourish and moisturize your skin.

Tips & Warnings
  • Drinking at least one 8-ounce glass of water after applying body wraps to your legs will help flush toxins from your body.
