Step 1
Start by dropping your entire tuning down one level. This will put you at D, G, C, F and A from low to high. Get familiar with the sound of these notes before you start learning the song, this will help you better identify when you make a mistake.
-
Step 2
Launch into the introduction with an open A string. Pad the fifth fret of the D and G strings. Do the same sequence again, only add your ring finger to the seventh fret of the D and G strings.
-
Step 3
Add a big rock and roll slide between each of the sequences from Step 2. The song will then kick in on the game. Start with open A, open A, fifth fret, fifth fret on the A string, seventh fret on the A string, fifth fret on the D string, seventh fret on the A string, seventh fret on the G string and fifth fret on the G string.
-
Step 4
Put it together to make the sound fluid. Practice this sequence a few times before moving on. The whole song will start with the intro from Step 2, the sequence from Step 3, done twice, with a different ending on the second sequence.
