Step 1
Execute a Breakaway Throw across your body and let it swing downward.

Place your left hand around the string so that the string is laying on the back of all 4 fingers and your hand is on the right side of the string. Do this about 4 inches from the top of the string.

Make an "L" with your left hand and wrap the string around the outside of your thumb. Then wrap it around your pointer finger.

Go underneath the string that is stretched between your thumb and forefinger of your left hand and grab the string that is going down into the yo-yo with the forefinger of your right hand. Bring it through with your finger like a sling shot.

Stretch it all out and swing the yo-yo back and forth.

Step 6
Swing the yo-yo up and around into the middle of the strings, making the yo-yo fall its axis onto the middle string.

Step 7
Hold it for a moment as it spins, then give it a tug to make it pop back out. Pull the yo-yo back into your hand to complete the Drop in the Bucket yo-yo trick.
