Things You'll Need:
- Paint
- Glaze
- Water
- Wet rag
- Paint brush
- Low-tack painter's masking tape
-
Step 1
Use the same paint that you used to faux finish the wall.
-
Step 2
Thin down the paint with glaze or water in equal parts paint and glaze or water.
-
Step 3
Paint around the corner with the darker paint over the lighter wall. Make sure that you connect the dark spots so that it does not break up around the corner and look inconsistent.
-
Step 4
Wipe off the darker paint with the wet rag so that it flows around the corner.
-
Step 1
Put low-tack painter's masking tape along the corner of the wall you are not painting. Make sure that it is about 1/16 inch away from the center of the corner so that just a bit of the paint gets on the other wall.
-
Step 2
Allow the paint to dry.
-
Step 3
Remove the masking tape and mask off the other wall. This time, make sure that the tape is in the exact center of the corner.
-
Step 4
Paint the adjacent corner with the same paint, making sure to follow the dark areas of the other wall so that it looks consistent.
-
Step 5
Wipe off the darker paint with the wet rag so that it flows from corner to corner.
