Step 1
Kneel down so that you are down on one knee, with the other leg bent before you.
-
Step 2
Hit yourself on the knee with one of your hands. This "hit" initiates the movement of your leg, which is bent in front of you. Slide that leg back so now you are kneeling on both knees.
-
Step 3
Grab the heel of the leg that just knelt down while simultaneously crossing your other foot over the leg behind you. This final position should have your hand on your heels with your feet crossed, while you are in a kneeling position.
-
Step 4
Lean back against your own body weight so that you are slightly off balance and then throw your leg out. This means to extend your leg (either one) sweeping it around yourself until you are back kneeling on one knee.
-
Step 5
Repeat the move until you can do it with fluidity. Then create other threading techniques throughout your break dancing. This is truly one of those moves with very few rules, so let your imagination fly and roll with the beat.
