  1. Step 1

Choose hearty greens when you have hearty flowers. The leather leaf fern goes well with a single hearty rose or tulip on boutonnières and corsages. The leather leaf fern will also very popular with summer bouquets. Pair the leather leaf fern with daisies or irises for a summery touch.

  2. Step 2

Go for delicate greens with delicate flowers like tiny rose buds and small filler flowers. The asparagus fern with delicate flowers are good for a bridesmaid's bouquet. You can also add some wispy asparagus fern leaves, and a few delicate flowers, to a nice bud vase and it makes a lovely addition to the signing book.

  3. Step 3

Adopt the ivy leaf when you want a more traditional, romantic look. If you are decorating your pews and reception tables with roses and traditional flowers, add ivy greens to your arrangements, or bouquet, and they will add to the romantic theme.

  4. Step 4

Add green to your bouquet with tiny leaves like geranium leaves. There are two types, one with a scalloped edge and one with a ruffled edge. You can mix and match them, or pick the one that matches your theme the best.

  5. Step 5

Brighten your bouquet with Camilla leaves. They are very hearty, and they have a nice shine to them that will help your flowers sparkle.
