How to Do Beginner's Wushu

Research the basics of wushu. Modern wushu includes the opponent completing moves and patterns in a way to showcase their still. You'll learn stances, kicks, punches and more when you take up wushu.

Expect to commit several days per week to your study of wushu. You must practice on almost a daily basis.

Many of the biggest tournaments for wushu are held in Asian countries. However, some enthusiasts want to get wushu included as an Olympic event.
Don't plan to compete right away. You may have to study wushu for several years before you are ready for a competition.
