How to Pour Beer and Handle Foam

Grace and beauty are not words often associated with a beer bong, but nonetheless, knowing how to pour beer into the funnel is one of the most important parts of using a beer bong. If not done correctly, it's much harder to chug the beer and you can get too much air in your stomach. Do it correctly and the beer should have a smooth ride.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Fill up a large mug or pitcher with a light, translucent beer. Although the beer will gain foam when it's poured into the bong, start with as little foam as possible. This way most of the contents of the bong are beer rather than foam.

  2. Step 2

Raise the funnel up slightly. Make sure someone is tightly covering the end of the tube or that the valve is closed, otherwise any beer that you pour in will come right out the other end.

  3. Step 3

Pour the beer into the funnel and raise it to allow the beer to flow into the tube. Don't worry about any beer that spills over the sides or drips off of the mug. Often neatness is the last concern in places where beer bongs are used.

  4. Step 4

Allow the beer to settle into the tube. Let gravity pull the beer down and naturally, the foam will rise to the top. Wait for the entire tube to be completely full of liquid before drinking.
