The entire purpose of a beer bong is to get the beer into the stomach as quickly as possible. Some of the funniest moments happen when people don't know how to use a bong and end up making a mess all over themselves.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Make sure the entire tube is filled with pure beer and is free of any air bubbles or foam before you raise the funnel and chug.

  2. Step 2

Sit in a chair or stand comfortably.

  3. Step 3

Ask a partner to help you hold the funnel up. This person should either be tall or they should stand on a chair close to you. They need to be much higher than your head.

  4. Step 4

Place the end of the tube or the valve in your mouth and take a deep breath. Open your throat as much as possible.

  5. Step 5

Raise the funnel up so the tube is fully extended, almost creating a vertical line. If there is no valve for the user, raise the funnel up only after the person using the beer bong gives you the signal that they are ready. The flow of beer will begin when you raise the funnel.

  6. Step 6

Chug the beer for as long as you can, pulling away from the bong when you can't take it anymore.

Tips & Warnings
  • Sit for a few minutes after you chug and avoid jumping around. Bongs put a large amount of liquid into your stomach very quickly and for several minutes, it's sloshing around in there.
  • There's no concern for taste or appearance when you chug from a beer bong. It's all about consumption.
  • Never lay down to chug from a beer bong because your throat will not fully open and this increases the chance that you will choke.
  • There's often a sensation of extreme fullness or nausea directly after you chug. It passes quickly.
