How to Choose Beer for Bongs

Beer bongs are devises designed so a person can consume a large amount of liquid in a short amount of time and as the name implies, beer is the liquid of choice to use. Although chugging beer is never going to be completely comfortable, you can choose the right beer to make a big difference.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy
Step1
Look for beers that are light and translucent to use in the beer bong. These beers are often more watery, but they will settle in your stomach much easier than if you choose a thick, heavy beer.
Step2
Choose a beer that doesn't have too much foam. If you use a keg of beer to fill the beer bong, allow the keg to settle awhile after you bring it home so the foam content is less. Beer is hard to swallow from the beer bong if it has too much foam.
Step3
Allow the beer to stand at room temperature for a few minutes to take the chill off. Ice cold beer can be painful if it runs quickly down the throat, so choose a warm beer. True, no one is fond of warm beer, but a beer bong doesn't allow the user to taste much of the beer anyway, so there shouldn't be too many complaints if you choose a warm beer to fill up the bong.
Step4
Pick something that's cheap. A beer bong isn't meant for name brand beers. The taste of the beer is certainly not of concern when the user consumes large quantities of beer in a short time. Choose the cheapest beer you can find. In the end, it all has the same desired effect.

Tips & Warnings

  • Don't experiment with other types of liquor. There is a real danger with putting too much alcohol into the body and overloading the system. Severe illness and even death can occur if you use hard liquor or even wine with higher alcohol concentrations.
