Step 1
Begin by holding your hands out in front of you. This will allow you to practice just the hand movements.
-
Step 2
Start with your arms straight up and your palms away from you. This is the same position you'd use if you were motioning someone to stop.
-
Step 3
Rotate your hands until your fingers are parallel to the floor. You will rotate your right hand to the right and your left hand to the left so that your wrists are facing each other.
-
Step 4
Move your hands from palms facing out to palms facing inwards while at the same time rotating your hands in the same direction as the previous step. You're fingers should be pointing toward the floor with your palms towards you.
-
Step 5
Rotate your hands again moving in the same direction that you have been using. Your fingers should be pointing towards each other with your palms still towards you.
-
Step 6
Keep rotating your hand and roll your palm outward. End the motion when your fingers are pointing to the ceiling and your palms are facing out. You will be in the same position that you started in for step 2.
-
Step 7
Repeat steps 2 through 6 until you know the motion. Make the movement one continuous, fluid motion. Once you know the motion, feel free to move your arms while at the same time doing the hand movements over and over.
