How to Make a Balloon Rubber Duckie

Making balloon animals has been standard children's entertainment for many years. A balloon rubber duck is easily identified and fairly straightforward to make. The rubber duck balloon animal looks great and quickly produced.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Instructions

1. Start by making a small bubble in a yellow balloon. Hold the balloon firmly as with all balloon animal creation.

2. Do a 2 to 2 1/2 inch three-bubble roll-through.

3. Make a fold-twist about a hand width in size. This creates the head of the rubber duckie.

4. Make a small neck using another three-bubble roll-through. Make this three-bubble roll-through a little bit bigger than the one for the head. It should be about 3 inches wide when completed.

5. Draw some eyes on the rubber duckie using a laundry marker. Make the eyes big and round and add eyelashes.

6. Draw the nostrils on the end of the rubber duckie's bill to complete it.
