Instructions

    • 1

Inflate four balloons with an air pump. Leave about 1/2 inch uninflated at the end of the balloon.

    • 2

Put the balloons one on top of the other, with all knots on the same side.

    • 3

Find the halfway mark of the balloons and twist them together. You need to twist until the balloons lock in place.

    • 4

Fold the balloons in half at the twist with all eight balloon ends pointing down.

    • 5

Hold the balloons' ends down and grip the top. Twist them all the way around until they're locked in place. Have someone hold the octopus tentacles while you twist because it's tricky manipulating all the balloons.

    • 6

Position the octopus tentacles where you want them. Fill any uninflated portions of the balloon by squeezing your hand down the length of each balloon from the head down to the end of the tentacles.

Tips & Warnings

  • Always supervise infants and toddlers around balloons. Popped balloons can create a choking hazard.
