Research the different type of products on the market for vinyl and plastic. You want to clean and protect your interior and maybe add gloss or shine. There are products that say they do all of this. Try different products to see which one you like best.

Apply the product to the vinyl and plastic in your car's interior, using a protecting wipe. You can use a simple soft cloth or a pretreated wipe.

Detail the dash with a cotton swab. Apply a small amount of the product you have chosen to the cotton swab and use it in those hard to reach areas.

Remove excess cleaner with a soft cloth. After your product has dried, it may leave behind excess. Be sure to wipe this off with a soft cloth and buff.

Use the cleaner on a regular basis to keep the vinyl and plastic clean and in good condition. When you notice dust and dirt, or your plastic and vinyl start to look dull, it is time to reapply your chosen product.

If you chose a product that leaves a high gloss finish and is silicone based, you must wipe these down more frequently. These finishes attract more dust, dirt and grime.
