Step 1
Separate your lashes with a clean mascara wand. The clean mascara brush should not have any mascara on it. If you ignore this step, your lashes will clump together.
-
Step 2
Powder your lashes. The powder will set the lashes and will make your eyelashes a bit more noticeable. You can use either baby powder or a makeup powder.
-
Step 3
Curl your eyelashes slightly. You do not need to heat your eyelash curler for the daylight mascara look.
-
Step 4
Apply the mascara from the base of the eyelashes to the tips.
-
Step 5
Finish applying the mascara to your bottom lashes. You want to create a finished look to complement your top lashes. Don't reapply the mascara, or you'll create the dramatic evening look.
-
Step 6
Remember to use the mascara in moderation. While you are out and about throughout the day, it is a good idea to touch up your mascara, but don't overdo it.
-
Step 7
Enhance your daylight mascara look by applying some light eyeliner and some light eye shadow.
