How to Make an Aloe Vera Facial Mask

Aloe vera is good for sensitive skin. Using it as a main ingredient for a homemade facial also helps soothe sun damage. Use all natural ingredients to ensure the quality of your mask.

Things You'll Need:

• Aloe vera juice
• Aloe vera gel
• Rose essential oil
• Bowl
• Cotton balls

1. Assemble your ingredients. You need aloe vera juice, aloe vera gel and rose essential oil. You can purchase these at a health food store or online. Be sure that you are buying pure ingredients and not synthetics.

2. Mix 3 tbsp. of aloe vera juice, 1 tbsp. of aloe vera gel and 2 drops of rose essential oil, in a bowl. Mix until the gel is evenly dispersed throughout the mixture.

3. Apply the mixture with a cotton ball on your face, neck, hands or anywhere else on your body. It is especially useful for sunburned areas.

4. Leave on for 5 to 7 minutes. The aloe vera and rose help promote healing and soothe the skin.

5. Remove the mask by rinsing with warm water. Pat the skin dry and be sure to apply a good moisturizer afterwards.
