Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Get into the guard position with one leg in front of the other and arms raised. This position gives you balance and keeps you protected.

  2. Step 2

Make a small half circle with your front hand. Move your hand across your body as far as possible. Strike the opponent with the thumb side of your hand or the release knife hand. Tuck your thumb into your hand to avoid injuries.

  3. Step 3

Aim your elbow at the opponent. Hit the opponent with the back of your fist. The back fist strike is delivered with your arm at shoulder height and bent in front of your body. Push the fist out in a sweeping movement and hit the opponent with the back of it. Pull your hand back into the defensive position.

  4. Step 4

Push straight out with the back of your hand. This combination is hard to block because it has a side-to-side motion, back motion and straight motion.

Tips & Warnings
  • Practice the combination with a bag or dummy to perfect the move and gain speed.
