How to Extract Pimples
Professional extractor tools for breaking and clearing pimples and blackheads are a much better alternative to popping your acne by hand. Popping acne transfers dirt and oil from your hands and only extracts the superficial dirt, actually aggravating pimples. When used correctly, a professional extractor, clears dirt deep within the pore to prevent future outbreaks.

1
Begin your acne remedy after a shower or after a facial steam when your pores are open and your skin is clean. You also can soak a washcloth in hot water and lay it over your skin for a few minutes before beginning.
-
2
Clear blackheads using the looped end of the extractor tool. Lay the loop flat on the skin so that the opening encircles the acne. Apply pressure slowly and evenly until the sebum trapped inside the follicle is forced out. Do not force the extraction, as too much pressure can cause scarring and infection.

3
Disinfect the lancet end of your extractor tool with rubbing alcohol before you begin your whitehead extraction remedy. Only use the tool on acne that is ready to break, that is, on acne that has developed a whitehead. Trying to pierce or extract deep, cystic pimples can cause severe skin problems and scarring.

4
Remedy whiteheads by piercing them gently with the lancet, or pointed tip of your extractor tool. Place the looped end over the center of the pimple and gently push as you roll the tool back and forth. The sebum and puss should be easily released.

Rinse your face with warm water and pat dry with a clean towel. Always finish by cleaning your extractor tool thoroughly with rubbing alcohol.
