Liquid latex's flexibility and utility makes it a great product to use when creating zombie makeup. Liquid latex gives the applier more resources to create rotting flesh with horrible disfiguring scars. A great benefit to using liquid latex is that it does not require a removing agent. It simply peels off the skin.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Start with a fresh clean face. Open the liquid latex bottle and use the brush to apply the first layer, or base coat on the area where you want special effects, such as scars or rotting flesh. Allow this layer to dry.

  2. Step 2

Apply a secondary layer on to the first layer. Allow this layer to dry.

  3. Step 3

Tear a hole into the layers and let the layers hang to begin to create a scar with rotting flesh. Dab deep red makeup to the skin areas in the hole left by the layers.

  4. Step 4

Continue layering if you are trying to achieve a build up effect, such as raised, rotting pustules under the skin. Build up these areas by dabbing layers onto the liquid latex.

  5. Step 5

Stretch skin out and apply the liquid latex, allowing it to dry to create wrinkles for aging.

  6. Step 6

Create a burned effect by adding additional layers and applying black to them.

  7. Step 7

Add the additional makeup to cover the liquid latex once the latex is dry. Add bruises, skin color, blood, and fungus color to the makeup.

Tips & Warnings
  • Test the liquid latex on an area under your arm to see if you are allergic to it.
