How to Make Chocolate Glaze for a Vegan Chocolate Cake
For those that enjoy chocolate vegan desserts, it is simple to make chocolate glaze for a vegan chocolate cake. Adding chocolate glaze to a delicious cake makes the dessert even more special. This glaze tastes wonderful on strawberries, bananas or any other fruit. Use it warm as a fondue or dip the fruit into the melted chocolate and then chill it for a wonderful dessert.

- Measuring cup
- Measuring spoons
- Mixing spoon
- 12 oz. non-dairy chocolate chips
- Sauce pan or double boiler
- 3 tbsp. guava nectar or corn syrup
- 6 tbsp. non hydrogenated margarine
- 1 tbsp. pure vanilla extract

Pour the chocolate chips into a sauce pan and place it on a burner over very low heat.

Melt the chocolate chips, stirring often so they don't burn.

Add the guava nectar, which adds a beautiful shine to the glaze.

Cut up 6 tbsp. non-hydrogenated margarine into smaller pieces, so that it will melt quickly.

Put the margarine into the saucepan with the melted chocolate and stir constantly to prevent the mixture from burning.

Continue to stir until the chocolate and margarine blend together.

Remove the pan from the heat and stir in 1 tbsp. of pure vanilla to complete this wonderful vegan chocolate glaze.

Tips & Warnings
Substitute 12 oz. of any non-dairy chocolate if chocolate chips are not available.
You can use a double boiler instead of the saucepan.
Be aware that chocolate will burn very quickly. Never leave it unattended when it is on the stove.
