A fakie half cab is a cool trick to add to your skateboarding repertoire. Once you can do an Ollie and a 180, you can do the fakie half cab skateboard trick. A fakie half cab is, according to Cody Demory, a backward half cab. The trick just takes a little practice and time. Grab your board and get fakie half cabbing!

Instructions

Difficulty: Challenging
Step1
Roll backward on your skateboard and do an Ollie.
Step2
Do a 180 as you do an Ollie and throw your arms in the air as you jump. By throwing your arms, you're creating more momentum to help you make the turn. The trick is keeping your feet on the board as you do this. This may take a little time to master, but you'll get it.
Step3
Land facing forward.
Step4
Work on doing a fakie half cab skateboard trick from a standstill at first. This way you can concentrate on your position and the fundamentals of the trick.
Step5
Start adding some speed to your fakie half cab skateboard trick. You may find that the trick is easier to do with a little forward momentum.
Step6
Add some height to your jump as you do the fakie half cab skateboard trick. This will take some time, but you'll find that the trick looks even cooler with more height.
