Step 1
Smooth concealer over the entire lid, creating a base for the shadow to stick and stay put for hours. This look requires a heavy amount of makeup and it's essential the eye is prepared correctly so the makeup doesn't crease or wear off in a few hours.
-
Step 2
Pick four colors to create the smoky eye effect. You will need a medium shade, a medium-dark shade and a darker shade and a highlighting color.
-
Step 3
Line the lid of your eyes on both top and bottom with eyeliner. You can use a pencil or brush with cream liner, but smudge the line slightly to soften it.
-
Step 4
Apply the medium shade over the entire lid, giving the lid the base color for the smoky-eye effect.
-
Step 5
Use the medium-dark shade to apply to the eyelid, beginning at the crease and moving downward towards the eyelash. Apply a small amount under the eyes to frame the eyes.
-
Step 6
Put the darkest shade at the corners of the eyes both in and out.
-
Step 7
Spread the highlighting makeup directly underneath the brow and in the center of the eye, right between the darkest shade applied. Use the same brush and softly blend the colors, removing any of the harsh lines to complete the smoky, seductive eyes.
