Full lips are popular, but you don't need collagen injections to make yours look fuller. Use makeup to achieve the effect of fuller lips because it's cheaper and much safer. Experiment with your look by following these steps to apply makeup for fuller lips.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Choose a lip liner that complements your skin tone. Choose a lighter shade of lipstick and one more shade that's lighter than the lip liner and lipstick. Make sure all three shades of makeup complement your skin tone and each other.

  2. Step 2

Line your lips along the outer edge with the lip liner. Don't go outside of your lips or it will look phony.

  3. Step 3

Smudge the lip liner with your finger or a Q-tip, blending inwardly toward the center of your lips. Apply the next lighter shade of lipstick to your lips, concentrating most of it toward the center. Allow the lip liner color to stand out around the edge.

  4. Step 4

Use the lightest shade to place a small area of highlighter color in the center of your bottom lip and under the Cupid's Bow, or center of your top lip. Smudge in lightly.

  5. Step 5

Blot your lips lightly with some tissue. Apply powder to your lips to set the color and make it look natural. Concentrate the powder around the edges for a natural look.

  6. Step 6

Apply some light clear gloss for a dewy look. Put the gloss only toward the center of your bottom lip.

Tips & Warnings
  • If your lips are too full and you want to achieve the look of thinner lips, follow the steps above but apply your lip liner just inside your lip line.
