Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions

    Front Choke Situation

  1. Step 1

Break and escape from the assailant's grip by bringing your elbow up, over and then down onto the assailants forearms. Keep the motion fast and strong so you hit the forearms with the most power possible.

  2. Step 2

Place your free hand against the fist of the hand that broke the grip. Use your hand to push your fist so that your elbow returns back across the head or face of the assailant, thereby delivering a powerful elbow attack.

  3. Step 3

Use a kung fu tiger claw against the eyes of the assailant with your first hand after your elbow makes contact. Return with the same hand in the opposite direction (now towards your assailant's head) to grab him on the back of the neck.

  4. Step 4

Pull the assailant down by the neck. Bring your knee up to deliver a knee to the face or side of the head.

  5. Rear Choke Situation

  6. Step 1

Throw your elbow behind you and twist your shoulders so that your arm lands on the assailant's forearms. Push down at the end of this movement to break his grip around your neck.

  7. Step 2

Turn sideways and bring the elbow of your initiating arm back across the face of the assailant, twisting your shoulder in the movement to leverage the power of your body into your elbow attack.

  8. Step 3

Rake the assailant's eyes and face by returning your initiating arm in the opposite direction that you threw your elbow. Keep your fingers tense and strong to inflict damage.

  9. Step 4

Grab the back of the assailant's head and force her head and upper body downward as you bring your knee into her face.
