Step 1
Open the package that contains the ceiling fan blades to locate the screws you'll need. Read the directions to locate where the fan blades attach to the fan housing. Check to make sure all the screws you need are included in the package.
-
Step 2
Place the screw on the tip of your screw gun to hold it in place. Insert the fan blade bracket at the correct position on the ceiling fan and use the screw gun to attach the blade to the fan housing. Tighten the screw so the blade is securely attached, but don't screw it in tightly at this time.
-
Step 3
Attach the remaining fan blades the same way you did the first fan blade. After all the ceiling fan blades have been attached, use the screw gun to tighten all the screws in all the fan blades.

Step 4
Loosen the small screws that hold the globes in place. Insert the globe into the holder, taking care that it's placed flat so the globe doesn't rock when the ceiling fan is turned on. Gently tighten the screws that hold the globe in place. Tighten the screws so that the globe is secure, but take care not to over tighten or you could crack the glass in the globe. Insert your choice of light bulbs and make sure they are not touching the sides of the globe; the vibration could cause the light bulb to fail if it rubs.
