Step 1
Ride to the top of the deck going the speed you're most comfortable with for performing a traditional manual move.
-
Step 2
Pop into the manual just as you reach the top of the deck with your rear tire and continue to roll in the direction you want to manual. The trick to this is learning when to pop the manual so you land on your back wheel on top of the deck.
-
Step 3
Manual across the top of the deck and look for a place to reenter the ramp. Once you determine where that is, manual until your rear tire reaches the right spot.
-
Step 4
Use your legs to pull the rear tire off of the ground, exactly as you would if you were trying to bunny hop on a level surface.
-
Step 5
Land the bunny hop on the spot your chose for your reentry. Keep your weight further back on the bike than you typically would on a bunny hop to avoid your momentum carrying you up and over the handle bars.
-
Step 6
Adjust your balance by pulling up on the handle bars while leaning back on the bike until you've reached a speed where you're comfortable allowing the front wheel to come down to the ramp. If you drop your wheel too forcefully, you'll go over the handlebars.
