In a feeble stall on a BMX bike, you'll have your front wheel on the deck and the back peg on the coping of the deck. Viewed from the ground, it'll almost look like you're hung up in midair along the side of the deck. It's a cool trick and you can get started doing a feeble stall on your own.

Difficulty: Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Go up the ramp at a pretty good clip. Not too fast, as you want to be able to stop pretty easily. Too much momentum could hurt in this instance.

  2. Step 2

Once your front wheel pops up over the coping, turn the bike so that the front wheel's parallel to the back of the deck. Your back peg closest to the deck should hook onto the coping.

  3. Step 3

Center yourself over your bike as you're doing a feeble stall on a BMX bike. In order to stay in the position as long as you can, you must do all you can to keep the bike balanced. Being off balance yourself will not only shorten the duration of the stall, but it could potentially cause a crash.

  4. Step 4

Lift the front tire and point it toward the bottom of the ramp. As you start turning, lift up your back wheel to get it free from the peg. The bike should roll smoothly down the ramp as you conclude the feeble stall on a BMX bike.

  5. Step 5

Practice the feeble stall on a BMX bike until you can linger at the top of the ramp for longer and longer periods. The effect of suspended animation is cool and should please spectators and judges alike.

  6. Step 6

    Be safe. Wear your helmet.
