Step 1
Begin this trick as you would begin to pop a wheelie. Shift your weight to slightly behind your seat and crouch forward.

Lean back and jerk your handle bars toward your chest, lifting the front wheel of your BMX bike off of the ground first.

Clench your thighs tightly and pull your back wheel off of the ground while leaning forward. This will propel your bike forward and your front tire down. Once your front tire hits the ground, you can allow the back tire to come down as well.

Step 4
Practice this process. In the beginning, you will not hop very high into the air. Perfect the technique, then focus on increasing your air and the distance you are able to bunny hop your bike.
