Warm-up your muscles. Stretch out your muscles to prepare them for doing gymnastics.

Perform a long jump. Stand tall with your hands over your head, bend your knees and jump forward as far as you can. Land with both feet together and knees bent slightly, coming back to standing straight position.

  3. Step 3

Execute a squat jump. Bend your knees, with your hands on the floor beside you. Jump up and forward. Bring your hands in front of you as you jump. End in the same squat position as you started.

  4. Step 4

Do a tuck jump. Start in a standing position, with your back straight and your arms to your sides. Jump up, bringing your knees upward towards your chest. End with your back straight, your knees slightly bent and your arms straight out in front.

Learn to do a star jump. Start with knees slightly bent, back straight and arms to your sides. Jumping up, raise your arms and spread your legs. After landing, assume the starting position.
