Spin immediately in the opposite direction of the foot you stepped forward with. Spin towards your opponent and strike his cheekbone area with the back knuckles of your closed fist. For instance, if you stepped forward with your right foot, you will spin towards the left and strike with your left fist.

Continue your spinning motion and raise your striking arm over his arm if he is still holding on to your shirt and wrap your arm down and around his—trapping his elbow in a joint lock. From here, you can increase pressure and snap the arm.

Bring your right arm around instead of breaking the assailant's arm and shove on his chest as you hook your leg closest to him behind his leg, causing him to fall backwards over it.
