Kung Fu provides many self-defense techniques to help a victim escape from an attacker. As an ancient Chinese martial art, the techniques Kung Fu uses have a history of success when performed properly. When you are held in a double wrist grab from the front, try a couple of self-defense techniques in order to get away.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Draw back slightly, just enough to require your assailant to brace himself or readjust his balance.

  2. Step 2

Resist outwards. To do this, you must immediately rotate both of your hands sharply downwards and outwards, causing your assailant to readjust his grip.

  3. Step 3

Swing both arms immediately in the opposite direction, down and inwards and bring them up sharply above his hands. This puts your hands in the position to grab the top of his forearms. Grab them firmly. You now have him in a double wrist grab but don't expect it to last.

  4. Step 4

Pull the aggressor towards you while you kick to his groin. With his arms wide, his body is open. Use that opening to your advantage. Kick hard and kick more than once.

  5. Step 5

Run to safety when your attacker drops to protect his groin. Your only goal is to protect yourself, not stay and brawl.

Tips & Warnings
  • Be aware of your surroundings at all times. Preventing an attack is the best self-defense.
