How to Groom the Eyebrows
When grooming and applying eye makeup, the eyebrows can make or break your appearance. You can apply eye shadow, curl your eyelashes and put on mascara but if you don't groom your eyebrows it won't make a difference. Consider your natural face shape before you groom the eyebrows. Oval faces look great with curved eyebrows while round faces need arched eyebrows. Square and rectangular faces should have round eyebrows.

Line up the eyebrows with the outer edge of the nose. Use a pencil to line up the edge of the nose with where the eyebrow should begin. The eyebrows should extend slightly beyond the outer edge of the eye.

Choose the thickness of the eyebrows based upon personal choice. Look through catalogs to determine what thickness looks the best before grooming.

Draw in the eyebrows with an eye pencil based on the previous decisions. You can use a stencil to draw the eyebrows perfectly. Wax or pluck in the stenciled lines.

Pluck or wax your eyebrows accordingly. After grooming your eyebrows comb them with an eye brush comb.

Have a professional groom your eyebrows the first time. This will make it easier for you to perform the upkeep as you will just need to pluck the hair outside of the eyebrows and thin them out occasionally.
