Step 1
Clean the beds of fingernails by removing any previous nail polish or dirt and oils. A nail polish remover can complete this task for you. Be careful if using acetone as it can dissolve acrylic if left on for long periods of time.
-
Step 2
Determine where you want the white color of the French manicure to start. This can be done with stickers or stencils if using a home French manicure kit. If no stickers or stencils are available, simply use the existing tip line on the acrylic nails.
-
Step 3
Paint the prepared tips with the white French manicure nail polish. Use caution to not over apply the polish to the nails as they can look clumpy and dry unevenly.
-
Step 4
Allow the first coat of polish to dry on the nails completely.
-
Step 5
Apply the beige or pink polish over the entire bed of the acrylic nails. This will give a slight tint to the white polish previously painted on. This color may require an additional coat depending on the coverage that the first coat gave.
-
Step 6
Finish the French manicure look with a top clear coat of polish on the acrylic nails. This will help to seal in the color and help reduce chipping of the French manicure.
