Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 3 large roses
  • 5 small flowers
  • 5 leaves or small pieces of fern
  • Baby's breath
  • Fine gauge craft wire
  • Floral tape
  • Scissors
  • Wire cutters
  • Ribbon
  1. Step 1

Trim wire to the desired lengths. Secure a piece of wire to each piece of the corsage using floral tape. Begin wrapping the tape at the base of the flower and continue wrapping until the wire is covered.

  2. Step 2

Lay the fern or leaves on a flat table. Arrange them in a fan pattern that will be the background for the flowers. Point two of the leaves downward.

  3. Step 3

Set one rose in the center of the greenery. Stagger the remaining roses on either side of the first rose. Place the roses so that they are not symmetrical.

  4. Step 4

Place smaller flowers around the large flowers. Stagger the flowers throughout the roses.

  5. Step 5

Add baby's breath to the corsage where there are any noticeable holes.

  6. Step 6

Trim all of the wires so that they are the same length. Wrap all of the flowers together with floral tape. Wrap the tape tightly so that the flowers cannot move at all.

  7. Step 7

Tie ribbon to the corsage for a finishing touch. Tie a bow that is proportional to the corsage and doesn't look overwhelming. Put one or two corsage pins in the back of the corsage for pinning it to your clothing.
