How to Print From Excel

Microsoft Office's program Excel comes bundled in Office Suite or as a stand-alone software product. It's a powerful spreadsheet program used mainly in business. Excel spreadsheets have several basic print options in all versions of the program.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Print With Default

Step1
Place paper in the printer.
Step2
Press the "Printer" icon located on the standard toolbar.
Step3
Click "Print."

Print With Options

Step1
Press "File" from the drop-down menu.
Step2
Click "Print..." to open the dialog box.
Step3
Select your printer from the printer drop-down menu. Your default printer always appears in this box with other listed printers that you've installed.
Step4
Choose the print range, either "All" or enter the page range.
Step5
Enter the number of copies if more than one.
Step6
Click the "Properties" button to choose portrait or landscape page orientation.
Step7
Move the mouse over the "OK" button then click to print.

Print With Page Setup

Step1
Click "File" menu and "Page Setup..."
Step2
Change any default feature on the "Page" tab to customize your print job.
Step3
Choose the "Margins" tab. Modify to the desired margin settings.
Step4
Select the "Header/Footer" tab then type the information you want to appear in print.
Step5
Push the "Sheet" tab and check or leave blank any of the self-explanatory boxes under "Print."
Step6
Point and press the mouse over "OK" to save the new settings.
Step7
Print the Excel spreadsheet by clicking the "Printer" icon.

Print With Excel 2007

Step1
Choose "Page Layout" for options.
Step2
Select the options needed for your print job by pressing on the intuitive icons and formatting ribbon.
Step3
Click the "Office Button" at the upper left for menu.
Step4
Place your mouse over "Print" and select either "Print," "Quick Print," or "Print Preview" to print out your spreadsheet.
