How to Use iGoogle
iGoogle is Google's customized landing page system that allows you to arrange your "perfect" home page, complete with access and preview of Google's Gmail, customized RSS feeds, third-party add-in gadgets and the ability to arrange information by tabs based on genre or preference.

Set iGoogle as your personal homepage, using either the "Tools" or "Options" menu, depending on your browser software.

Get your mail. If you already have a Gmail account, you can sign into this page using that account. Otherwise you can create an account. Signing in permanently associates that email account with your iGoogle homepage, and your email is immediately available in a preview window the moment you open your browser.

Customize it. Google offers an option at the top of the Google page called "make it your own." Click on this link for color and layout option themes. In addition, you can select the gadgets you'd like to add to your front page. For example, plug in your zip code to set up weather and traffic RSS feeds.

Use it. While surfing the web, you may find that many blogs allow you to add their feed directly to your iGoogle page with one simple click. Doing so gives you the ease of reading the headlines of all your favorite blogs in one window, and you can still click through directly if you want.
