Belmont Park, home of the famous Belmont Stakes is a 430-acre racetrack in Elmont, N.Y. Its spring/summer meeting runs from April 30 to July 20, and its championship meeting goes from Sept. 5 to Oct. 26. Here are some ways for horse lovers to find horse race schedules for Belmont Park.

Step1
Search your local Yellow Pages or the Internet to find an OTB (Off-Track Betting) parlor in your area where you can find daily racing schedules for Belmont Park. You'll find race information displayed on the tele-theater's video terminals.
Step2
Read the Daily Racing Form. The paper's website lists local points-of-purchase for the newspaper. You may also purchase the Daily Racing Form online.
Step3
Check your daily newspaper, especially during racing season, for a complete race schedule of the major tracks, including Belmont.
Step4
Watch the live television broadcast of the Belmont Stakes. Held on June 8, 2008, this "Run for the Carnations" is the third leg of the famous Triple Crown of horseracing. It runs 5 weeks after the Kentucky Derby and three weeks after the Preakness Stakes.
Step5
Visit websites, such as Equibase, to purchase racing programs for Belmont Park. There's a small fee charged for the programs.
