How to Buy Discount Sunglasses From China

Sunglasses were originally invented in China, and Chinese merchants offer many discounts on sunglasses. Large discounts can be had on large bulk orders of sunglasses from China. Discounted sunglasses can be purchased in any style as most brands are made in China.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Determine the size of your order. Large orders of several boxes of sunglasses can receive a sliding discount of between 60 and 80 percent off the retail price. Many bulk wholesalers have websites, but the site may be in Chinese. Use a service such as Babelfish or Google to translate the page.

  2. Step 2

Exercise caution when placing an order with a seemingly large Chinese merchant. Chinese business websites are well known for offering a wide range of products without actually being affiliated with a manufacturer. Research the merchant before arranging for any payment.

  3. Step 3

Call the Customs Office or arrange for shipment through an import/export agent. Sunglasses are not included in any special import provisions between America and China and the shipping arrangements should be rather simple.

  4. Step 4

Request a sample pair of sunglasses be shipped before making any large orders if uncertain about the quality of the merchandise. Chinese merchants are very accommodating if they feel a buyer is serious about a purchase. However, the buyer will have to pay for shipping costs, which vary depending upon the speed of shipping desired.

  5. Step 5

Shop for single pairs of sunglasses through an online auction website or through a fashion accessory website. Many of these are associated with Chinese retail merchants. Many small Chinese wholesalers offer the latest fashionable sunglasses, but unless shoppers are willing to pay for expedited shipping expect to wait 6 to 8 weeks for your purchase to arrive.
