Decide the purpose of your visit. The museum offers more than just 30-minute tours for families. You can host a wedding reception, holiday party or corporate gathering there. It also offers field trips and educational tours, teaching visitors about America's entertainment and political history.

Next door, visitors can tour Shenandoah Caverns, MainStreet Yesteryear (a collection of historic department store window displays for the holidays), and The Yellow Barn (displays depicting rural life, from restored antique farm equipment to a large treehouse with 5-foot squirrels, which serves as a children's activity area). One ticket allows admission to all four areas.
