Confidence is a dice game of bluffing in which only the one who can read his opponents the best can win the game. It's a little like poker, somewhat like Liar's Dice and a lot of fun to play with a group of friends.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Determine who starts by having each player roll one die. The person who rolls the highest number begins the game.

  2. Step 2

Place five dice in a cup and shake it when it is your turn. Turn the cup upside down with the dice underneath it on the table. Lift the cup slightly so that only you can see the dice values underneath.

  3. Step 3

Assign poker values to the dice to determine the values. Two of the same number is a pair and three is a three-of-a-kind. A straight, which consists of five consecutive dice, is the next highest value. Five-of-a-kind, four-of-a-kind and full house are the three highest values, in that order.

  4. Step 4

Announce a value out loud and pass the dice cup, with the dice underneath, to the player to your left. You do not have to announce the correct value; you can opt to bluff and state a different value, higher or lower.

  5. Step 5

Decide if you want to believe or challenge the announcement if you are the player to whom the cup was passed. If you believe the announcement, lift the cup slightly and look at the dice. Make a new announcement, higher than the one previously made, and pass the cup to the player to your left.

  6. Step 6

Lift the cup and reveal the contents if you opt to challenge a player's announcement. If you the value is the same as what the player announced or higher, the challenger loses and is eliminated from the game. If the value is lower than announced, the person who made the announcement is eliminated.

  7. Step 7

Continue play until one person remains. That last person standing wins the game.

Tips & Warnings
  • When a player chooses to believe a player's announcement, he can opt to reshake the dice cup before making his next announcement. He can shake all or some of the dice. If he chooses to shake some dice, he must leave the dice he is not shaking on the table for all to see.
