Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Have two needles with equal amounts of stitches on each. You will be working from both needles at the same time. This necessity is why this bind off is used mostly for top down socks.
Step2
Hold the sock with the toe towards you. The needle closest to you will be needle one and the one farther away from you will be needle two.
Step3
Purl the first stitch on needle one and knit the first stitch on needle two. Pass the purled stitch over the knitted one.
Step4
Purl the next stitch on needle one. Pass the knitted stitch over the purled one. Knit the next stitch on needle two. Pass the purled stitch over the knitted one.
Step5
Repeat Steps 5 through 8 until you have bind off all the stitches on both needles.
Step6
Cut the yarn, leaving a 6-inch tail and draw the tail through the last loop to secure the end.
Step7
Weave in the tail of the yarn and your project is complete.
