How to Create a Journal in Scrapbook Factory Deluxe
Scrapbook Factory Deluxe is a terrific way to journal important events in your life and the lives of your friends and family. Very user friendly, Scrapbook Factory Deluxe lets you express your creativity and gives you a unique professional-quality product.

Open Scrapbook Factory Deluxe and select "Journal" from the "Choose a Project" list that appears on the left side. This opens a list of options for you to choose from so you can customize your journal to your specific event. Select "Journal Pages."

Look below and decide how you want to journal. You can choose to journal only special occasions or you can journal every day life. Make the selection that fits your particular needs.

Scroll through the previews in the right panel. Choose any of these to templates to give you a head start. Or, you can create your journal totally from scratch by going back to the beginning and choosing a blank project. Select "Next" once you know what you want.

Customize the text, including the color and font styles. As you type, you can view the result in the preview panel to instantly see your project take shape. Click "Next" when you're done.

Replace photographs by double-clicking on them. A menu will pop up and allow you to choose a photograph from an existing computer file or from a variety of graphics included in Scrapbook Factory Deluxe. Once you choose an image, the program will automatically update the template.

Continue to alter your journal however you choose. There are accent pieces you can use to embellish the page along the right side. Resize them by adjusting surrounding frame. Embellishments include ribbons, buttons, letters, tags and hundreds of other options.

Click "Finish" to complete your project. This displays the final journal you've created. You can also make changes on this page if you aren't happy with the final outcome. Once complete, you can save your project or print it.

Tips & Warnings
Due to the detail in such projects, it's generally recommended that you save your projects to disc or as a PDF file to save memory.
