Select a weekend to visit the Minnesota Renaissance Festival. There's a special theme each weekend at the festival. Some past themes have included Irish Heritage, Fiesta Renaissance and Highland Fling. Each of the festival themes has special events related to the theme. Visit with some of the roving entertainers as you walk throughout the festival grounds. You can stop and chat with the Queen, the King or any of the other talented entertainers during your day at the festival.

Check out some of the stage acts at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival. There are juggling, dancing, acting and comedy acts for your entertainment, with schedules posted at the festival, and on the current brochure.

Eat up at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival. There's a variety of typical renaissance festival fare including steak on a stick, turkey drumsticks and various desserts such as apple dumplings. You may choose to have barbeque, bratwurst, coffees or any of the other scrumptious foods offered at the festival as well.

Shop at the many craft booths in the Merchant Marketplace. You can purchase a wide variety of artisan items including apparel, candles, glassware and jewelry. You can also have your photos taken and have caricatures drawn.

Find the Minnesota Renaissance Festival in Shakopee, Minnesota, 25 minutes south of Minneapolis/St. Paul. The festival is located on Highway 169 and 15 miles west of I-35.
