Does your Homeowner's Association say you can't have an hdtv antenna on your roof? Here's how to win that battle!!

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy
Step1
Log onto the Governments FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION (FCC) website at http://www.fcc.gov/mb/facts/otard.html
Step2
Write down the FCC's website address just in case needed at your subdivision meeting!
Step3
Read over the entire page to learn your rights as a homeowner governed by a "Homeowners Association committee" in your subdivision and the rights to you of installing an hdtv antenna!.
Step4
Copy the entire page and print it out! If time is not a factor attend the next subdivision meeting! If not, arrange to get together with a board member and present your findings!
Step5
Install your hdtv antenna!

Tips & Warnings

  • Did you know that if you receive your local hdtv stations though your Dish/Cable provider most are charging you around $10/month MORE on your bill for this service!
  • Did you know that you do not get a "true" pure hd digital signal if you are getting the signal via your Dish/Cable provider! Dish/Cable providers have to "compress" the digital signal of your local hd stations so it can share the bandwidth with all the other channels they offer you!
  • Did you know that each time they add channels to your line-up your local hd stations are being degraded!
