How to Drink at the Parkside Lounge, NYC

The Parkside Lounge has been called "the champagne of dive bars." It is on Manhattan's Lower East Side. With happy hour until 8 p.m. 7 days a week, a divey relaxing atmosphere and constant entertainment in the back room, the Parkside Lounge is a spot worth checking out, even if it is a little off the beaten path.

Things You'll Need:

• A metro card
• Drink money

1. Take the F or V train to 2nd Ave. The V train does not run on weekends.

2. Exit out the Allen St. exit.

3. Continue walking East on E. Houston. The bar is about 8 blocks away.

4. If you pass Ludlow St., you are going in the right direction.

5. Cross Clinton St. The Parkside Lounge will be at the next block at Attorney St. You will see the large lit up sign.

Tips & Warnings

• From above E. Houston St., the Parkside Lounge is between Avenues B and C. Under E. Houston, it's between Clinton and Attorney.
